Intent of NWRA Scholarships
· Increase student participation in NWRA and its activities
· Incentivize student interest in water resources research and careers
· Provide opportunities for Nevada students to engage in water resources
2025 S.A.S.S. Scholarships
The S.A.S.S. Scholarships are funded with revenue from the raffle/ fundraisers held each year. Each year the S.A.S.S. Committee budgets the revenue for student support throughout the year. This consists not only of scholarship opportunities, but also student sponsored registrations, event travel, colloquium sponsorship, student outreach, and much more! It is because of the commitment from the NWRA members and item donors that this student support is made possible.

Qualified students must be pursuing a degree in the field of water resources. Preference is given to students who have not yet received extensive monetary assistance, yet demonstrate scholastic aptitudes and serious long-term interest in the water resources industry.
